Daytime humidity of 40–70% and moderate winds limit rapid cooling, while the Arabian Sea sea breeze—typically arriving in the afternoon—introduces the main source of 1–2°C variability across ensemble models. Historical mid-May climatology shows average highs around 35°C, so current readings sit slightly above baseline. Stronger or earlier sea-breeze onset could realistically cap the high at 35°C, whereas delayed marine air would allow brief excursions above 37°C before official resolution at the Karachi airport station.
