Lula maintains a commanding lead in Alagoas for first place in the 2026 Brazilian presidential election first round, as reflected in trader consensus. Recent state-level polling from institutes including Real Time Big Data, Quaest, and AtlasIntel shows the incumbent consistently ahead of main challenger Flávio Bolsonaro by double-digit margins, with Lula at 44-50% and Flávio at 29-37%. Other tested names such as Ronaldo Caiado, Romeu Zema, and Renan Santos register in the low single digits or below. This positioning aligns with Lula’s longstanding support base in the Northeast region. Upcoming national polling releases and any shifts in local campaign dynamics ahead of the October vote could influence probabilities, though current evidence points to limited volatility in the state.
