**Trader sentiment for London's September 4 minimum temperature centers on incoming westerly flow and associated cloud/rain timing after a warm September 3.** Official Met Office guidance and model consensus (including GFS and ECMWF runs referenced in forecasts) indicate a frontal passage bringing patchy drizzle and overcast skies early on the 4th, followed by partial clearing and fresher westerly winds. This setup favors overnight lows near 13–17 °C (roughly 55–63 °F), with the precise minimum hinging on radiative cooling rates once clouds break and on whether dew-point suppression or light winds allow deeper surface cooling. Slightly lower outcomes (16 °C) gain support from faster clearing scenarios and stronger winds mixing cooler air, while 17–18 °C reflects persistent cloud cover or higher dew points limiting temperature drops. Historical early-September climatology for London shows typical minima around 12–15 °C, so current trader weighting toward the upper end of that range aligns with the milder maritime air mass and limited model spread in the 24–48 hour window. Updated Met Office and NOAA briefings on the 4th will likely refine the exact threshold.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=eglc
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
