Current forecasts from multiple models indicate a minimum temperature in New York City on September 15 most likely in the upper 50s, aligning with the market's leading 58-59°F bin at 50.5% implied probability. High pressure, clear skies, and light northerly shifting to easterly winds overnight will promote radiational cooling after a daytime high near 71-72°F, consistent with National Weather Service guidance and recent model runs showing minimal cloud cover or precipitation. Historical September averages for the area support lows around 60°F, but the current setup favors slightly cooler readings. Traders appear to weigh the narrow 56-61°F range heavily given stable conditions and limited forecast spread, with resolution hinging on official overnight observations.
