This market will resolve to "Yes" if a new country accepts an invitation to join BRICS between market creation and December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Only new member states, not new partner states, will be considered toward this market's resolution. The primary resolution source for this country will be information from BRICS members (e.g., https://brics.br/en/about-the-brics, etc.); however, a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.India’s 2026 BRICS chairmanship has prioritized internal consolidation, the rollout of BRICS Pay, and the partner-country framework established after Indonesia’s 2025 accession. With eleven full members already in place and ten partners integrated in 2025, official statements and summit preparations through mid-2026 have focused on coordination among existing participants rather than new full-member admissions.
