Flávio Bolsonaro holds a commanding lead in Goiás first-round polling, most recently at 38% in an AtlasIntel survey from early September, well ahead of Lula and local figure Ronaldo Caiado. This positioning stems from sustained Liberal Party organizing in the state, including pre-candidacy launches and alliances with PL and Novo figures ahead of the October 4 vote. Goiás voters have shown consistent preference for the Bolsonaro-aligned ticket amid national polarization over security, economy, and institutional issues. Caiado’s PSD bid and other minor candidates face structural hurdles in consolidating right-leaning support. Late shifts remain possible if turnout patterns or last-minute events alter the state’s electorate before first-round resolution.
