Late-spring conditions in northern Taiwan are shaped by the transition from the northeast monsoon to the southwest monsoon, bringing generally warm, humid air masses that produce typical daily highs near 30 °C; however, variations in cloud cover, local sea-breeze circulation, and any weak frontal passage can alter peak readings by 2–3 °C. The wide distribution across lower and higher thresholds reflects this inherent short-term forecast variability, as new model runs and observational data from regional agencies will refine the expected range before resolution.
