Recent polling from late September shows a fragmented contest for Minas Gerais's two Senate seats, with Marília Campos (PT) holding a narrow numeric lead in consolidated vote intentions around 18%, followed closely by Domingos Sávio (PL) and incumbent Carlos Viana (PSD) at 16% each, Aécio Neves (PSDB) at 13%, and Marcelo Aro (PP) at 12%. High undecided and blank/null shares near 12-30% across surveys keep rankings fluid. Trader pricing for second place reflects this uncertainty, with Sávio favored amid right-leaning momentum closing gaps on the PT candidate while Viana benefits from incumbency. The dual-vote system and lack of dominant frontrunners sustain tight probabilities; further September-October polling shifts, turnout patterns among key blocs, or late campaign developments could reorder the field before the October 4 vote.
