The crowded field for Bahia’s two Senate seats features several high-profile contenders, including PT figures Rui Costa and Jaques Wagner, incumbent Angelo Coronel of Republicanos, João Roma of PL, and others such as Gregorio Gould and Delliana Ricelli. Recent polling shows Rui Costa and Jaques Wagner often leading but with variable margins amid a fragmented opposition, while party alliances tied to the concurrent gubernatorial contest add complexity. Trader consensus around 44–50% across listed names reflects the absence of a decisive frontrunner and uncertainty over final vote distribution on October 4, 2026. Late campaign shifts, coalition adjustments, or turnout patterns among key regional blocs could create separation before election day.
