**Trader sentiment for the highest temperature in Panama City, Panama, on September 4, 2026, centers on 31–33°C outcomes because official forecasts and climatological norms for the peak of the rainy season point to daytime maxima in that narrow band.** Persistent moisture from the Intertropical Convergence Zone fuels afternoon convection and widespread cloud cover, which limits insolation and caps temperatures even as regional sea-surface temperatures remain elevated. Model consensus from sources such as the Met Office and regional guidance shows highs near 30–31°C with scattered thunderstorms, keeping the probability of 34°C or higher low at 5%. Recent observations confirm typical September humidity levels above 80% and light-to-moderate trade winds that further moderate extremes, aligning market-implied odds with the narrow historical envelope for this date.
