Steven Snell holds the lead in trader consensus for the 2026 Williamson County Judge race due to his status as the appointed Republican incumbent in a county where the party has dominated recent countywide contests. Snell, sworn in during 2025 after the prior judge departed for a federal role, advanced unopposed through the March Republican primary, while Democrat Heather Jefts secured her party's nomination without opposition. The general election matchup on November 3 features limited new campaign developments in recent weeks, with structural factors such as voter composition and incumbency advantage continuing to shape assessments ahead of the vote.
