Recent National Weather Service and GFS model guidance points to a minimum temperature near 64°F in New York City on September 14, driven by post-frontal clearing, northwest winds of 8–12 mph, and enhanced radiational cooling under partly to mostly clear skies after Sunday’s rain. Dew points falling into the upper 50s to low 60s and surface high pressure building from the north support this range, consistent with the market’s leading 64–65°F (41.5%) and 66–67°F (36.5%) bins. Ensemble spread and urban heat-island effects introduce modest uncertainty around the exact overnight low, while climatological September minima near 60°F provide context for the current forecast consensus. Updated model runs and local observations through early Monday morning will refine the final recorded minimum used for market resolution.
