United Russia holds a commanding position in the Sverdlovsk Oblast Legislative Assembly election scheduled for September 18-20, 2026, reflecting its status as the incumbent ruling party with the governor at the top of its candidate list and a track record of securing majorities in prior regional votes. Recent developments, including the party's first ballot position after the draw and the removal of several Yabloko candidates shortly before voting, have reinforced this edge, while the governor's 2025 reelection victory under the same banner underscores broad institutional support. Other registered parties such as CPRF, LDPR, A Just Russia, and New People remain on the ballot under the mixed system but trail significantly in trader pricing. Late shifts remain possible only through unusually low turnout or unforeseen administrative or campaign developments in the final days.
