In Amapá’s 2026 Senate race for first place, a fragmented field of roughly nine registered candidates keeps implied probabilities tightly clustered. Incumbents Lucas Barreto (PSD) and Randolfe Rodrigues (PT) compete with federal deputy Acácio Favacho (MDB), state assembly president Alliny Serrão (União Brasil), former senator João Capiberibe (PSB), Rayssa Furlan (Podemos), and several lower-profile entrants. Official campaigning began only on August 16, leaving limited time for differentiation. A late-July survey showed Rayssa Furlan ahead but with substantial undecided voters and margins within sampling error. Upcoming debates, party alliances, and regional turnout patterns in this two-seat contest remain the main variables that could separate the leaders before October voting.
