**With numerous candidates clustered near 44-50% in the Polymarket for first place in Acre's October 4 first round, trader consensus reflects a fragmented field and limited state-specific data.** National polling shows incumbent Lula (PT) leading overall at roughly 40-47%, followed by Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) at 30-37%, with Ronaldo Caiado, Romeu Zema, Renan Santos, and others in single digits. Acre, however, has historically favored conservative candidates aligned with the Bolsonaro movement, potentially boosting right-leaning contenders while vote-splitting among PL, PSD, NOVO, and smaller parties keeps outcomes uncertain. Recent party conventions (late July to early August) finalized nominations and running mates, just before the official campaign launch on August 15. This timing, combined with the absence of recent granular Acre polling and the broad list of registered candidates, sustains the tight pricing. Further separation could emerge from local endorsements, candidate events in the state, turnout patterns among conservative voters, or any national momentum shifts before the first-round vote.
