The 2026 Quebec general election in Lévis features a tight contest between incumbent CAQ MNA Bernard Drainville and PCQ challenger Karine Laflamme, with projections from aggregators placing their parties in a virtual dead heat around 28-37% support each. Drainville’s established local record on infrastructure and economic files is offset by provincial headwinds for the CAQ and his recent unsuccessful leadership bid, while Laflamme capitalizes on voter interest in the third-link project and Conservative momentum in the Quebec City region. Other candidates from the PQ, Liberals, and QS trail further back but could influence vote splits on mobility, housing, and regional development priorities. The race remains fluid ahead of the October 5 vote, with potential separation driven by turnout among undecided voters, targeted campaign events, or shifts in polling on key local issues.
