United Russia secured a commanding lead in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug Duma election, held September 18–20, 2026, through parallel voting that allocates half the 40 seats via party lists (5% threshold) and half via single-member districts. Preliminary tallies showed the party at roughly 52–55% on the proportional ballot while capturing 19 of 20 constituencies, producing a large majority consistent with its long-standing regional dominance and alignment with federal structures. LDPR and CPRF placed next on lists, with New People clearing the threshold for the first time; smaller parties fell short. The three-day voting window and high reported turnout aligned with national patterns favoring the incumbent. Final certification or procedural disputes remain the only realistic paths to alter seat allocation, though current counts indicate limited scope for reversal.
