**Recent polling aggregates place the Parti Conservateur du Québec (PCQ) at roughly 11–16% province-wide support ahead of the October 5 election, with particular strength in the Quebec City region and parts of Chaudière-Appalaches.** Seat models reflect wide ranges—338Canada projects around 14 seats (7–18 range) while others cluster nearer 8–9—producing the market’s spread across the 5–17+ buckets. PCQ gains stem from regional concentration where the party leads or contests multiple ridings against a weakened CAQ, aided by recent endorsements such as that from former Lévis mayor Gilles Lehouillier. However, broader francophone competition with the leading PQ and residual CAQ presence, combined with uncertain vote efficiency and turnout patterns, keeps projected totals variable. Small shifts in second preferences or mobilization in competitive ridings could widen or narrow the final seat haul. The election timeline leaves limited room for late developments to alter these dynamics before polling day.
