The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day for the Beijing Capital International Airport Station, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/cn/beijing/ZBAA. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Latest numerical weather prediction runs from global and regional models show Beijing's June 15 maximum temperature centered near 30 °C, with ensemble spreads placing the most likely outcomes between 29–31 °C.** This consensus arises from moderate southerly flow, daytime solar insolation under partly cloudy skies, and limited convective inhibition that could produce scattered thundershowers capable of trimming peak heating by 1–2 °C. Urban heat-island effects at the official observing site add a small positive bias, while higher boundary-layer humidity and any earlier cloud build-up favor the 29 °C outcome. Traders are weighting the 30 °C bin most heavily because recent model updates have stabilized the median forecast just above the 30 °C threshold without strong signals for either substantial cooling or rapid warming. New CMA guidance and afternoon model cycles expected before market close will refine the final range.
