SDA maintains a commanding lead in recent pre-election surveys and seat projections for Bosnia and Herzegovina’s 4 October general election, reflecting its established base among Bosniak voters in the Federation and positioning it ahead of rivals for the largest share of House of Representatives seats. SNSD, SDS, and other Republika Srpska parties retain localized strength but trail nationally, while HDZ BiH, DF, NiP, and SDP BiH show more modest support levels consistent with fragmented opposition dynamics. Recent Central Election Commission penalties for premature campaigning and the rollout of biometric voter verification and electronic counting have introduced procedural scrutiny without materially altering polling trends. Coalition negotiations after results will determine government formation under the country’s ethnic and entity representation rules.
