Flávio Bolsonaro holds a clear lead in trader consensus for first place in Acre’s October 4 first-round presidential vote, consistent with the state’s conservative profile and past strong support for the Liberal Party and Bolsonarism. His nomination by the PL, selection of running mate Alfredo Gaspar, and official campaign launch on August 15 have reinforced positioning as the main opposition standard-bearer following his father’s ineligibility. Lula remains the national frontrunner in most surveys, yet Acre-specific polling and regional voting patterns continue to favor the right-wing challenger over fragmented alternatives such as Ronaldo Caiado, Renan Santos, and Romeu Zema. The tight national race and early campaign dynamics underscore how local factors in northern states can diverge from broader trends ahead of the vote.
