Paul St-Pierre Plamondon of the Parti Québécois holds an 85% implied probability in the market, reflecting the party's sustained lead in recent polling averages near 28-29% ahead of the October 5, 2026, Quebec general election. Seat projections from multiple models show the PQ positioned to win the most ridings and form government, though likely in minority. Incumbent Premier Christine Fréchette of the Coalition Avenir Québec trails at 6.3% amid party support around 22%, while Liberal leader Charles Milliard registers lower odds consistent with his party's fragmented position. Recent campaign developments, including debates and infrastructure pledges, have not produced major shifts in voter intentions or altered the PQ's frontrunner status in trader assessments.
