This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the lowest temperature recorded by NOAA at the William P. Hobby Airport Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 27 Aug '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=khou This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button. If NOAA data is unavailable or missing for the observation period, Weather Underground will be used as the secondary resolution source. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Official National Weather Service forecasts for Houston project a Thursday night low near 80°F amid persistent heat and humidity, anchoring trader consensus around the 80–83°F bins.** High dew points near 70°F and light southwest winds are expected to limit overnight radiative cooling, while a 30–50% chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms could introduce variable cloud cover that either traps heat or allows brief clearer periods for modest drops. Model guidance remains tightly clustered in the upper 70s to low 80s, reflecting typical late-August Gulf Coast conditions under a strong subtropical ridge. With resolution hinging on the precise overnight minimum from official observations, the market-implied odds closely track the authoritative forecast consensus while leaving room for minor revisions from updated model runs or localized convective activity.
